Sarm Miccichè
Sarm was born in Montreuil, on the eastern edge of Paris. She discovered a passion for painting while studying at the CSSSA programme at CalArts, going on to earn a BA (2012) and MA (2017) from the City & Guilds of London Art School.
Working across painting, drawing and conceptual media, her work centres on the female figure: mythologised, multiplied and quietly subverted. Her upbringing across France, Sicily and Los Angeles continues to shape her visual language and sense of storytelling, exploring the human condition with a sensibility that balances dark humour with emotional ambiguity.
She lives and works in London.
